This issue of the Journal of International Students, edited by Alean Al-Krenawi (Algoma University) presents an in-depth exploration of the experiences of Muslim students and scholars in Western academic environments. The volume includes a series of research articles investigating key themes such as language barriers, cultural adaptation, racialization, and the psychological well-being of Muslim international students. Topics covered range from the experiences of Arab-Bedouin students in Israeli academia to the factors influencing Muslim students' decisions to study abroad in Northern Cyprus and the United States. The contributions in this volume come from 28 authors and represent 9 countries: Jordan, Israel, Canada, the USA, Northern Cyprus, Libya, Australia, and Indonesia. The research featured in this volume provides valuable insights into the challenges and successes of Muslim students and scholars in Western institutions. It contributes to the broader conversation on diversity, inclusion, and equity in higher education.
